PhlowerCards opened its 'internet lines' on January 2008. It derives its name from Pressed Flower cards from the Philippines. Hence, the "PH". We are a U.S. based online shop in the Central states, but we import many of our products from the Philippines. A group of women in the Philippines first started the pressed flower card making as a hobby a couple of years back to help poor Filipino families earn other means of income in order to survive. Since then, their works of art has been known in many different countries. PhlowerCards in one way, is here to help these creative women sell and streamline their marketing efforts for their beautiful pressed flower cards... and in turn help them from the impoverishments of life. Pressed flowers has been a most favored art by many nature and flower enthusiasts, and we are one of them. Our goal at PhlowerCards is to bring nature, beauty, and the awareness of our environment back to the forefront. We strive to "preserve" that beauty by capturing it into our handmade cards and delivering them to you. |
